About me

A computer engineer speaking four languages, I have been working for more than twenty years as a developer for a huge and complex IT project. I have now leveraged this tremendous experience in a second career as a translator and proofreader, making full use both of my foreign languages and my own.

I am also the author of two hiking guides (in French), published by Slatkine Geneva in 2013 and 2017. The books try to conciliate hiking reports with a pleasant writing style.

Finally, I was the owner of the website Web Bloopers / Bêtisier du Web / Web-Stilblüten, a humorous collection of translations in three languages found on the Internet. It used to be quite popular among translators and I just I just revived it on this new site. Have a look at some blog entries for a few minutes of linguistic fun.
